The reliable interpretation of clinical imagery presented on a display is a critical procedure in the healthcare industry. The ASUS HA2402 Clinical Review Display features a 1920x1200(2.3megapixel) resolution, for clear pictures that are easy to read for accurate results. Compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standard, the HA2402 display is intended for use with grayscale images, including those produced by X-ray, magnetic resonance (MR), positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound equipment.

The ASUS HA2402 Clinical Review Display is factory pre-calibrated with DICOM Part 14 compliance to ensure visual accuracy and consistency. The ASUS HA2402 uses 8-bit gray shades selected from a 10-bit look-up table to ensure smooth gradations and accurate identification of grayscale shading. This advanced rendering of medical grayscale images makes the HA2402 suitable for use in clinical environments.

The standards-compliance of HA2402 ensures that it can be seamlessly integrated into any environment that uses Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) *technology. From the long-term view, the HA2402 with this technology offers healthcare providers the potential for cost savings in radiology services by eliminating the expense of film processing and storage, among different healthcare institutions.

Five Preset Image Modes for Improved Productivity
Five easy-to-use preset image modes are included, allowing quick and convenient adjustment of HA2402 for viewing standard image types. In addition to the standard display mode, there are three DICOM modes for color, blue-base and clear-base images, plus a useful light-box mode for viewing traditional film images. It provides more flexible viewing and is an ideal addition to any clinical professional’s office.

Medical-grade Power Supply Ensures Safety
HA2402 medical display meets UL/IEC/CE 60601-1 safety certification for medical power supplies. HA2402 is also manufactured in an environment that meets ISO13485 quality requirements.

Zero Client Compatible for Enhanced Security and Privacy
With the optional mounting bracket, HA2402 can even be turned into a zero-client monitor by the addition of a suitable zero-client box such as the ASUS CPX20. This enables easy integration into virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments for improved security, privacy and manageability.

IPS Display for Image and Color Accuracy
For optimum image quality, HA2402 uses a display panel with in-plane switching (IPS) technology, giving it impressively wide 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Thanks to the wide viewing angles and high contrast ratio of the panel, images can be viewed simultaneously by a group of users with minimal degradation in brightness, contrast or color shift.

HA2402 has a 16:10 screen aspect ratio to provide significantly more horizontal space than a standard 4:3 display. This is ideal for displaying multiple clinical review applications and images simultaneously, and hence improving the work efficiency of physicians and radiologists.

The HA2402 allows tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustments, enabling easy viewing of images in either portrait or landscape orientations. The wide range of adjustments also allows comfortable viewing position to be achieved in any workspace configuration. HA2402 is also wall mountable, making it easy to fit into confined spaces while maximizing desk space.

Multiple Interfaces for Easy Connections
HA2402 includes four USB 3.0 ports, allowing convenient connection of USB storage devices. The HDMI port allows it to be used as a secondary display for a compatible laptop, another productivity-increasing benefit.
